Researchers at the Mayo Clinic developed an AI system that identifies pancreatic cancer signs on CT scans up to three years before tumors are visible to the human eye. The model proved three times more accurate than radiologists at detecting subtle abnormalities, potentially increasing the eligibility for life-saving surgeries and treatments.
